Kinondoni District is a district in north west of Dar es Salaam’s central business district, Tanzania, others being Temeke and Ilala. To the east is the Indian Ocean, to the north and west the Pwani Region of Tanzania. The area of Kinondoni is 537 km².

Job Responsibilities – Drivers at Kinondoni District | Nafasi za kazi ya Udereva 2021
- Inspect the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety condition of the vehicle.
- Taking staff to various places on business trips.
- Carrying out minor car repairs.
- Collect and distribute various documents.
- Fill in and keep track of all trips in the trip register.
- Car cleaning.
- To perform other duties as directed by his supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications of the Applicant
- Employed in Form Four Certificate and Class E or C1 Driver’s License which he or she has worked for at least one year without causing an accident.
- Must have attended a basic driving course offered by a Vocational Training College (Veta) or another Government recognized College.
- Applicants with a grade II technical testing certificate will be considered first.
