Simba Club has confirmed to play with St George at the peak of Simba Day ‘Simba Day’ on August 8.
The stars of the oldest club that participates in the Premier League in Ethiopia will arrive in August 6 ready for the international friendly match.
Simba Information Officer, Ahmed Ally said the team will arrive with all its stars ready for the match to be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
“Our opponents will arrive in Dar es Salaam two days before the peak of Simba day on August 8,” he said.
Simba is doing the festival for the 14th time this season since it was started in 2009, along with other activities, they will use it to introduce their new players before playing the friendly international match.

Simba Sports Club is a football club based in Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Founded in 1936 as Kings of Football, the club later changed their name to Eagles, then to Sunderland. In 1971 they were renamed Simba (Swahili for “Lion”).
