Nauli Mpya za Mabasi 2023 na Daladala Land Transport Regulatory Authority (Latra) has announced new fares for popular urban buses and long-distance buses.

Announcing the new fare rate today Saturday April 30, 2022 Latra Director General, Gilliard Ngewe said the new rate will come into effect after 14 days.
He said for urban buses from 0 to 10 Kilometers the fare would be Sh500 instead of 400 and the fare of Sh450 would be 550.

“For 30 km the fare will be 850 instead of 750 and for 35 km the fare will be 1000 and for the 40 km the fare will be 1100” said Ngewe

He said for regional buses the standard 1 km by bus has increased by 11 percent from Sh 36 per kilometer to Sh41.
“For the middle class it has increased by 6 percent one passenger will pay Sh56.88 per kilometer from Sh53” he said.

Nauli Mpya za Mabasi na Daladala 2023 The Authority is set to regulate the land transport sectors particularly, transportation of goods and passengers (commuter buses, inter city buses, goods carrying vehicles, taxi, motor cycles and try cycles), railways and cable transport.
LATRA has its Head Office in Dar es Salaam, and has regional offices in all twenty six (26) regions of the Mainland Tanzania.
