1. POSITION: FINANCE MANAGER
ROLE PURPOSE
The Finance Manager is the senior member of the finance and administration department andb heads accounts, reconciliation and Treasury functions while reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
The Finance Manager will play an integral part in developing long-term goals including writing of proposals for investment/risk analysis that will help in growing business besides implementing financial strategies created by management.
Ensuring that Finance department complies with all applicable legal, regulatory, and operational risk requirements to minimize the risks which could emanate from non-compliance of policies and procedures.
Is the principal custodian of effective and efficiently designed and implemented controls and operational risk activities in the Finance space.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : finca microfinance bank jobs 2022
- Degree in Accounting with CPA/ACCA or Chartered Accountancy Equivalent required.
- MBA Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years (2 years as supervising accounting functions).
- Worked with at least one accounting computer systems.
- Strong experience in financial management of a company, desirably a financial institution.
- A sound knowledge of microfinance, principles, and practices of banking.
2. POSITION: HEAD OF DIGITAL BANKING
ROLE PURPOSE
The Head of Digital Banking (HDB) is responsible for ensuring that FINCA’s digital banking business strategy is optimal, given current and emerging digital realities, opportunities and threats. finca microfinance bank jobs 2022
The HDB champions the use of information and technology in business model design, and all aspects of the business to create business success. HDB is responsible for managing and growing relationships with in-country stakeholders for enabling Bank’s revenue growth from Digital Banking Products.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven 4+ years’ experience as a Digital Business Manager, B2B Business Development and/or Digital Financial Services
- Outstanding track record that includes combinations of the following: business development, sales strategy, stakeholder management, account management
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, Board of Directors and other Governance Committees.
- Previous FinTech/Financial Services working experience
- A solid understanding of the banking and mobile network digital payment ecosystem in Tanzania
- Good knowledge of digital financial services and digital products
- Must possess with very strong cross-platform digital and technical knowledge and up-todate with the latest market development
- Extremely savvy with the popular and emerging social media and has been an active user
- Excellent communication skills. Able to build strong relations with business partners and internal stakeholders
- A strong team player who brings a passionate, high-energy and innovative approach to FINCA
- Proactive and self-driven. Able to prioritize and manage complex projects and deliver results under pressure
- Master’s degree preferred (Business related), experience in Information Communication Technology discipline is an added advantage
