Position: School Matron

We are looking for highly motivated and committed School Matron to join our team to ensure the good health and welfare of all pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to further their experience and contribute to the health and welfare of pupils at our school.

Job purpose

To provide a high-quality level care, pastoral support to the pupils

Main duties and responsibilities

Ensuring that the welfare needs of the children are met by liasing with parents to discuss any specific needs of their child and ensuring that appropriate provision is made for children with medical conditions or specific needs
Providing high level of care in the event of a child becoming ill whilst at school
Ensuring the safe storage and handling of medicines
With cooperation with school nurse to maintain accurate records of the medical needs of the pupils and all health issues
Ensuring training within the prescribed time frame including first Aid and others relating their growth and their needs
Provide support and advise school management on issues pertaining to the health and welfare of pupils
Undertaking the cleanness of the pupils dormitory
To promote and safeguard the welfare of all children at the school and to adhehere to and ensure compliance with the pupils guidance at all times.

Position: Physical Education Teacher

Prepare lessons and teaching materials. Teach and coach a range of sports and physical activities to pupils of different ages and abilities. manage class behavior, motivate and encourage all pupils to take part. work with learning support assistants to help pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Measure student progress to encourage the mastery of school standards in sports
Analyse entire physical education activities along with students
Evaluate students physical abilities by informal testing
Perform with academic teacher as well as nurse to identify adoptive physical educational requirement of children
Cultivate student awareness and ownership of personal performance
Design, plan, and implement physical education lessons based on school and national standards
Encourage teamwork as to set collective and personal development goals
Ensure accommodations and modifications are made for the growth and development of students
Ensure that the physical education environment is clean, safe and constructive for all students
Teach knowledge and skills in physical fitness, rhythms and dance, health education, and individual, dual and team sports
Able to communicate expectations to students and families and work with them to ensure they are achieving personal goals
Consistently address the needs of individuals students relating to sports
Support a school’s share vision and common goals regarding physical education and physical activity
