POSITION: PRESCHOOL MANAGER

Kidsjoy Daycare Center [IG: kidsjoy_daycare] is actively seeking a qualified preschool manager who will oversee the daily operations and administration of the school. The candidate must from all other things have strong LOVE FOR CHILDEN and then possess experience in the field of early childhood development and lead management of the school.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to recruitment of staff, property maintenance, marketing and communication, financial management, and communication with role players.
A successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and uphold the vision of the preschool with pride and ensure that the preschool meets the relevant standard set by the owners.
SCOPE OF DUTIES
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with parents, students, staff, surrounding neighborhood and other schools.
- Assuring moral, academic and spiritual development of kids from their entry to exit, by also pinpointing their challenges and preparing appropriate interventions.
- Ensuring the national curriculum is followed and innovate then supervise all extracurricular activities according to the school timetable.
- Ensuring fees and contributions are collected fully and timely, and perform fair allocation of budget and resources.
- Conducting research on professional and ongoing learning workshops and sharing these opportunities with teachers and other staff.
- Attending meetings with higher management and scheduling appropriate staff team building sessions.
- Ensuring security and maintenance of school properties, and safety of all staff and children when inside the school compound, and during school bus routes.
- Assisting with the hiring, recruitment, training, and onboarding of new teachers and non- teaching staff
- Making sure the school is compliant with all necessary government bodies, including licenses and tax compliance.
- Maintaining proper records of all documents related to income and expenditures(purchases).
- Preparing and submitting of draft financial reports, and other documents.
ACADEMIC/PROFFESIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Extensive pre-school teaching or pre- school administration experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of and practical experience regarding various software applications such as MS Word/ MS Excel is mandatory.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, management, finance management, marketing and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to remain professional.
- A willingness to work overtime.
- Certification in Montessori Curriculum will be an added advantage.
