This five-year programme, from 2016–2021, focuses on practical ways to realize the rights of children. UNICEF’s work spans seven areas – health, HIV and AIDS, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), education, child protection and social policy.
The programme’s aim is that Tanzanian children, especially the most disadvantaged children and families, have access to and benefit from quality social services, knowledge and opportunities, and thereby have a fair chance in life.

JOB TITLE: Program Associate,(GS-6)
Under the close supervision and guidance of the Chief of Field Office, the Programme Assistant supports the respective section (s) by carrying out a range of procedural, administrative, and operational tasks, to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme, ensuring timely and effective delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.
JOB TITLE: Health Specialist(Health information systems, Digital Health and Knowledge management)
The overall objective of the position will be to ensure continuity of UNICEF’s support to strengthen Health management information systems and Digital Health solutions that are holistic, integrated and fit for purpose in the Tanzanian context. The position will also serve a

The incumbent will complement the skills that are already available in UNICEF Health section with their highly technical skills and knowledge of digital health.
In the field of knowledge management and research, the incumbent will ensure effective coordination of implementation research partnerships with a view to long term institutionalization of government owned implementation research for continuous programmatic analyses and improvement.
