Mkulazi Holding Co. Ltd (MHCL) is a company owned by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Prisons Corporation Sole (PCS). The Company was established on 6th September 2016.

Recommended:

The main objective of the company is to undertake production of sugar in Tanzania. To start with, MHCL plans to develop two sugar estates in Morogoro region of which one will be located at Mkulazi area, Morogoro District (Mkulazi Estate) and the other in Mbigiri, Dakawa in Kilosa District (Mbigiri Estate).

Company wishes to invite competent, qualified, experienced and dedicated Tanzanians to fill in the following vacancy positions currently available in the Company. WOMEN ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR THESE POSITIONS as follows:

PHARMACIST (1 POST):

The job purpose is to dispense drugs prescribed by physician and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medication and their use reporting to Medical services Manager.

Key Roles & Responsibilities.

  • Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients and to evaluate their suitability;
  • Provide information and advice regarding drugs interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage;
  • Maintains records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records and register of poisons, narcotics or controlled drugs;
  • Plan, implement or maintain procedures for mixing, packing or labelling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security and proper disposal;
  • Assess the identity, strength or purity of medications;
  • Prepare sterile solutions or infusions for use in surgical procedures, emergency rooms or patients homes;
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review or evaluate the quality of drugs;
  • Liaise with procurement unit to order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies or drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly; and
  • Perform any other lawfully duties assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Academic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution with valid licence to practice the professional.
  • He/She should have two (2) years working experience in reputable organization.

Salary Scale: C5.

HUMAN RESOURCES TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT (1 POST):

The Job purpose is to oversee the proper functioning of learning and development for the Company and shall be reporting to the Head of Human Resource and Administration.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training needs assessment to respective departments;
  • To provide inputs to the preparation of Medium Term and Annual Training Programme;
  • Perform any other lawful and HR related duties as will be assigned from time to time.
  • To coordinate the prepare annual training budgets and monitor the implementation;
  • Maintaining and reporting training and learning Analytics; and
  • To continually monitor the implementation of the training programme for respective departments;
  • Preparation and management of Training Bonds for a respective department;
  • To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual training reports with relevant metrics;

Academic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business/Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or related education qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • He/She should have Six (6) years of practical working experience in reputable organization two (2) of which must be in Supervisory position. Experience in Paterson Job Grading System will be an added advantage.

Salary Scale: D3.

HEAD OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS:

The purpose of the position is to oversee effective, efficient and economic management of financial resources and commercial services for sustainable operations. He/She shall be reporting to Chief Executive Officer and shall be supervising all staff under Finance and Accounts Department.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Formulate financial policies, procedures and systems that ensures effective control and accountability of finances;
  • To plan, coordinate, implement and control financial resources and accounting systems;
  • Perfoming any other lawful related functions.
  • To ensure effective management of company’s financial resources for maximum gains and returns;
  • Provide technical support for institutionalization of Strategic Planning and Budgeting matters; and
  • To enforce adherence to financial and accounting systems standards and regulations;
  • Coordinate the formulation and preparation of Strategic and Annual Business Plan;
  • To ensure preparation of company’s statutory financial reports for circulation to auditors and other stakeholders;
  • Advise the Management on matters related to Planning and Strategy Development;
  • To plan, organize and coordinate cash flow projections and analysis;
  • Facilitating preparation and implementation of Corporate Strategy, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the company plans, programs, projects and general operations;

Academic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holder of Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration majoring in Finance or Accounting or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions with CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, CIMA and registered by NBAA as Certified Public Accountant.
  • Must have working experience of ten (10) years in related field, of which four (4) years must be in the Managerial position.

Salary Scale: E 2.
