Background
Community’s Expertise for Development Contributions (CEDC) is an independent Tanzanian non-profit organization whose major aim is to see all persons in the communities attaining best living standard, wellness, prosperity and justice. (Jobs at CEDC 2021 | Volunteer Accountant)
CEDC management team streamlined its objectives by launching integrated projects whose focus is children wellbeing attainment.
Besides to contribute upon community members developmental initiatives in liaison with other developmental stakeholders be it private or public ones. It was established by Tanzanians and a Canadian.
CEDC was established and registered in September 2018 and started operations in January 2019. The journey for Community’s Expertise for Development Contributions involved many development stakeholders including the government and development partners (DPs) but their support is very slow. This has been hindering access to the neediest in terms of services in attaining children wellbeing due resources deficit. Founders have been tirelessly working day and night to make sure they secure resources be it funds within their pockets to make it standing.
To retain trust from stakeholders, the organization is governed by an independent Board.
CEDC empowers community citizens to become a strong driving force for change in improving the marginalized groups’ lives standard through projects, in fighting poverty and in achieving a better quality life for all.
It has indeed grown from an idea to a strong institution. In 1 year of our operations on grounds, we have vested energy upon organization capacity building and partners networking inside and outside the country. Ensure CEDC funds are well managed adhering due diligence building trust to stakeholders and programs successful implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities – Jobs at CEDC
- Preparations of payment voucher both I system (Iscala) and handwriting
- Financial report writing for Different Donors
- Budget and operation budget preparation
- Monthly payroll and salary slips preparation
- Monthly bank and cash reconciliation
- Managing funds and advice management on financial matters
- Program financial management
- Retirement crosschecking and proper filling
- Fixed Asset register preparation
- Audit handling and compliance review
- Staff contributions compliance facilitation including Tax laws consideration
- Orient field students during learning.
- Fund request preparation to donors
